Kathleen Snyder Elected Mayor of Portland Yesterday

According to the city’s unofficial count, Kathleen Snyder was elected Mayor of Portland in yesterday’s mayoral election.  She earned 7,119 votes in the election to take the top spot.

Coming in second place was city councilor Spencer R. Thibodeau, with 5110 votes.

Incumbent Mayor Ethan Strimling came in third place with 4,575 votes.

Newcomer to politics, Travis Curran, finished last with 1,296 votes.
