New Policies at Hannaford Brothers on Display at Check-Out Counter.

Hannaford Brothers will start closing at 9:00 pm rather than at 11:00 pm as it has in the past.  This change in hours is in effect for the next two weeks and longer if considered necessary.

In addition, the store will NOT be charging for the use of their own bags.  This is an effort to discourage customers from bringing in their own shopping bags which may have been contaminated with the COVID-19 according to a clerk at the store.

Third, Hannaford Brothers will be dedicating special shopping hours for customers over 60 and those with compromised systems starting March 24th.  Stores will open early from 6:00 am – 7:00 am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

These new policies will be in effect for the next two weeks and may be extended if necessary.
