Glenn Fenton, Named Executive Director, of Greater Portland Metro.

Glenn Fenton, has been selected as Metro’s new Executive Director following a nationwide search.  Mr. Fenton has held a leadership role at Metro since 2014.  Since April he has served as Interim Executive Director.

Mr. Fenton has over 25 years of experience in public transit.  Previously he worked as the Stamford Division Manager for CT Transit in Stamford, Connecticut.

“I’m thrilled to take on the role of Metro Executive Director in a permanent capacity,” said Mr. Fenton.  ‘I’m especially excited to lead such an amazing team of employees as we work together to continue to advvance public transit in the Greater Portland Region.”
