The Friends of Casco Bay is looking to hire a Development Assistant.  The primary responsibility is to “help sustain, grow membership and its volunteer-base.”  This is an entry-level position that is also a full-time, professional position with benefits.  It requires 40 hours per week with occasional nights and weekends for special events and deadlines according to a press release issued by Will Everitt, its Interim Director.

The Friends maintains careful stewardship of its donors and volunteers.  The Development Assistant plays a key role in recording relationships with supporters and helping keep track of our organizational memory.

The salary range is $37,400. – to $41,600 a year, commensurate with experience, with an excellent benefits package.  The Friends is located in South Portland, Maine in the greater Portland region.  The start date is as soon as possible upon job offer.  The first round of applications will be reviewed at the beginning of December.  Screenings and interviews will be conducted initially by phone and online; finaliss will be interviewed in person as CDC guideslines allow.  NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE.
