Friends of Casco Bay Hires Executive Director Already Known to Many in Area

Will Everett has been hired as the next Executive Director of Friends of Casco Bay the non-profit announced today in a press release.

Will is a familiar face serving as Communications and Development Director for the past 15 years and Interim Director since September of 2021.  With his srong background in environmental community organizing and so much more, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to make him Executive Director.

“Casco Bay inspires me.  I am honored to be named Executive Director,” said Will.  “Over the years, we have been able to accomplish so much for the health of the Bay, knowing that the best soltions for clean water are also solutions for the health of our economy……A healthy Bay benefits everyone who lives and works here…..”

Friends issues an invitation to the public to join it in July at  its 50th anniversary of the Clearn Water Act celebration.  At that time, you will have the chance to meet Will in person and hear about his vision for the future.
