On Monday, December 15, 2025, at approximaely 1:07 am., the Greenville Fire Department responded to a fire at the Greenville Masonic Hall, located at 281 Pritham Avenue in Greenville.  The Greenville Fire Department, along with mutual aid fire departments arrived to find heavy fire conditions.

Once the fire was suppressed and the scene was stabilized, investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s Office were requested to assist.  The fire was determined to have originated in the basement kitchen area of the structure.  Due to the exent of the damage, the specific ignition source and cause could not be identified.  Based on the available information, there is no evidence to indicate the fire was the result of an intentional act.
