If you have questions and concerns about life on Munjoy Hill, please bring them to the annual District One Meeting next week.  The meeting is to be held at the East End Community School on Wednesday, November 6th at 7 pm.  The meeting will be facilitated by City Councilor Kevin Donoghue.

This is an unusual opportunity to ask questions of numerous city staff members and get to meet them as well.  For some this may be an especially important opportunity because there are so many new staff members since the annual meeting last fall. Some of them are Deputy City Manager Sheila Hill-Christian, Planning and Development Director Jeff Levine and Fire Chief Jerry LaMoria.

Questions like what’s happening with the piece of property that the City still owns on the new Adams Condominium property.  Will it be a public garden or something else?  How is the hirinig of a new city pr person replacing Nicole Clegg progressing?

It’s also the day following Election Day and John Anton (G) will be replaced on the city council by either Jon  Hinch or Wellington Lysons. We expect the winner to be on hand as well as Mayor MIchael Brennan and perhaps other council members.
