These Avocadoes at Trader Joe’s, Portland, Were for Sale for $1.99 each Today. The Price of Avocadoes at Hannaford Brothers Today was $2.99 with ‘Ready to Eat Yesterday Ripe’ Ones for Sale for $1.29. That’s  Up From 89 Cents Several Weeks Ago at Hannaford Brothers.  Is This CF’s Answer to his Promise to Reduce the Cost of Groceries on Day One of his Regime??

At the first cabinet meeting of Convicted Felon Trump’s regime, Elon Musk, the billionaire overseeing CF’s enormously unpopular agenda of major cuts to the nation’s workforce and to foreign aid, told the cabinet members that it was probably the greatest presidential cabinet ever to be assembled in our nation’s history.  CF Trump chimed in that he was proud of the cabinet he’d put together.  At times it was like watching a stage performance while cabinet members remained silent as though reprimanded into submission throughout the performance starring Musk.

However, because of the massive and reckless cuts to the workforce that Musk has engineered, he has become extraordinarily unpopular by the American public.  Much of the discussion at the beginning of the meeting focused on the confusion and chaos he engineered over the weekend.

Specifically, Musk’s email to federal employees to respond with their five accomplishments by Monday midnight evening of this week or face firings has caused rancor and angst from Americans.  About fourteen agences then countered that email saying to ignore Musk’s demand. Then CF countered that the emails of 5 accomplishments are voluntary, but if employees don’t comply with the Musk order, federal employees will be fired.   It has been stated by reliable sources that over 28% of those fired from their positions in the government are American veterans.  And these “cost savings” it is well known- are designed to pay for the hugh tax cuts for the wealthiest among us.

The backlash against Musk has been strong in town hall meetings and participants chanting – Musk must go – taking the heat off of CF. That’s why some Republican officials have decided to eliminate town hall meetings where voters have not been reticient about expressing their anger.  This is in an attempt to avoid news coverage that discloses the rage of Americans impacted by Musk. The White House press woman was asked yesterday who was administering these unpopular workforce cuts.  She said she would not release the name of that person from her podium. But, it was later reported that an Amy Gleason, of Tennessee, who is on vacation in Mexico is the administrator of the DOGE group.  It’s been reported that she has been the administrator of DOGE for as much as a month.

When asked by a reporter if CF would stand by Taiwan, one of our allies, if China should attempt a takover of it,  CF refused to make a commitment to defend that island nation with a population of 23 million people.  In other words, CF was leaving the door wide open for China to take over Taiwan, much as Russia has done in Ukraine.

On another matter, CF was asked about his promise to reduce inflation so that groceries such as eggs would be more affordable for consumers.   It is also anticipated that the price of eggs will rise by 40% by the end of the year.  A challenge for restaruants and bakeries who use eggs in their food production as is happening already. He disregarded the question and said that Americans are extremely proud of the direction of this nation….lies,…..lies,………lies.

Over and out.
