City Receives Major Site Plan Application for 161 York Street Residential Development

The city of Portland has received a major site plan application for a development to take place at 161 York Street it announced yesterday.  The proposal is to divide one lot into two lots to facilitate the development of two new residential buildings.  One building will consist of a four-famly building and the other lot will consist of a three-family building.  Ten parking spaces are proposed as part of this project according to the proposal by 166 York Street.   The site will have frontage along York Street and Guilford Court which is an existing 16.5 private right-of-way located at the rear of the site.  The press release from the city does not indicate the total size of the lot to be divided into two parcels.
