Anne McGuire Hired to Serve as Assistant City Manager for Portland.

Anne McGuire has been selected to serve as Assistant City Manager according to a press release issued late last week.  She will begin work on August 30, 2021.

Ms. McGuire is a “progress-driven professional” with an extensive background in government and the private sector.

She is an attorney with a strong public policy and political background having advised officials in the White House, Senate and House of Representatives.

Her public sector experience includes roles in the US Senate for Minority Leader Harry Reid and Minority Whip Richard Durbin and the White  House during the Clinton Administration.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham and her law degree from Georgetown University.  Her salary will be $140,980. annually.
