The city of Portland has called for a parking ban starting tonight Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 10:00 pm and running Thursday, April 4th at 6:00 am.  Vehicles left on city streets after 10:00 pm tonight can be towed at the owner’s expense.

A citywide parkng ban is necessary for this storm due to the conbination of freezing rain, snow and high winds that are expected.  Having cars off the streets tonight will make it easier for plow crews to navigate this storm and push precipitation back to the curb line.

Trash and recycling collection is being postponed until Saturday, April 8th due to high winds that are expected on Thursday.
