A 50′ Blue Spruce was selected to be the 2023 Monument Square Christmas Tree.  It is locatd at 35 Lubec Street in South Portland.

The tree is expcted to arrive around 10:00 am.  Both South Portland and Portland Police, along with the Portand Parking Control, will assist with escorting the tree safely to Monument S quare.

Forestry crews will begin installing lights on Thursday and hope to finish by Tuesday depending on conditions.  The tree lighting is on November 24th, the day after Thanksgiving starting at 4:00 pm.
