For those who especially enjoy holiday music, one of the highlights of the holiday season can be the opportunity to serenade others with music of the season.  Everyone is invited to join Friends of the Eastern Promenade in a caroling this weekend.  The fun and music will begin on Sunday, December 19 at 5 pm at the bandstand in Ft. Allen Park.  The bandstand was recently decorated by the Friends for this holiday season. 

Friends will sing their way through the neighborhood and along Congress Street, serenading the local restaurants and places of good cheer.  Please bring your favorite seasonal music (some will be provided), instruments, a flashlight and your enthusiastic voices, says a press release from the Friends.  The press release says:  “Talent is good and enthusiasm is better!

There is no indication how long the caroling will last; just please be sure to be home in time to watch the New England Patriots play Sunday night!
