Whether or Not Mainers Want a Private Company or a Publicly Owned Utility is on the November 7th 2023 Ballot.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS, CUSTOMERS:  Thursday, September 14th (tomorrow) at the Portlad Public Library, Rines Auditorium, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm., several Central Maine Power (CMP) customer service representatives will be there to meet you and answer your questions.  MHN.com belives that folks will have lots and lots of questions to ask these customer representatives.

At 7;00 pm, (an hour ago) munjoyhillnews.com received this invitation to this meet and greet in downtown Portland.

MY FIRST QUESTION:  Why so little advance notice of your meet and greet to your Portland customers?  Does this event have anythig to do with the fact that your future existence is on the November 7th 2023 ballot?

Another question might focus on why the Office of the Public Advocate recently filed a document with the PUC charging CMP with overspending by many millions during  winter storms last year?  That’s for starters.

If you miss tomorrow’s meet and greet because you have to work or attend school – well maybe everyone’s time would be better spent preparing for Hurricane Lee that is predicted to impact Maine’s coast in the coming days.

PLANNING MATTERS, CMP!
