A Crew was Setting up Activities at Monument Square This Afternoon for the Fun Fest, Tomorrow Afternoon.

Portland is the first of a seven-city Fan Fest Tour that  will visit each New England state between August 26-31th.  Crews were busy this afternoon setting up a myriad of  family-friendly activities in Monument Square for the Fan Fest.  It runs from noon – 6:00 pm tomorrow.The event is free to the public.

The purpose is to grow the game of hockey through the region.  The final stop will take place in Boston during the Bruins training camp in September.

The other cities on the Fan Fest Tour are:  Manchester, NH; Burlington, VT; Springfield, MA; Hartford, CT; and Providence, RI before returning to Boston, the final stop
