Because of a successful holiday season using an end unit at 93 Washington Avenue, Abby Pratt, owner of Star Cousins, has extended her lease until the end of January 2019. This unit has a glass wall that makes it easier for potential customers to see the range of pillows for sale. Some are well suited for home interiors and others for office interiors. Abby was running low on fabric from Peru, which is bright and colorful, typical of the large pillow above, before Christmas. Since. she has made numerous pillows from material from the Ivory Coast – pillows that are not as colorful, but extremely handsome. After this month, she may well have to return to Peru to resupply her supply of material. Please see previous post herein dated December 16, 2018 for more information on Star Cousins.
STRATA, a knife sharpening business and seller of high-end knives is expected to move into unit # 4 in early February. It is anticipated that this new business will have particular appeal to professional chefs in the area as well as home chefs too. This business, owned by Evan Atwell, replaces Evangeline.
“If the container fits, wear it.” (Someone dared me to write that).
The Black Box Rentals were the idea of Jed T. Harris who sold them to the current owner. He now lives in Spain.
