Two weeks of construction will begin on Monday, July 8th to install a new catch basin and pipe at the intersection of Baxter Boulelbard and Hannaford Plaza Road. Work will require a traffic control plan which will restrict access entering or exiting Hannaford Plaza Road during this time.
The contractor will work to minimize the disruption and cross as quickly as possible according to a press release issued earlier this week by the city of Porttland’s spokeswoman.
It is anticipated, but not confirmed, that construction work will not begin before 7:00 am and not continue after 7:00 pm..It is also anticipated, but not confirmed, there will be no construction work on weekends. Hannaford Bros. Co. LLC is open until 10:00 pm week nights. According to several sources, the supermarket on Forest Avenue is expected to undergo renovations to its front end in the next several weeks or so. More renovations of the store will follow in time.
