On Saturday, May 30, 2026, Pather Joyce, 18, of Cornish, was arrested on a warrant charging him with one count of Arson and one count of Failing to ConstrolReport a Dangerous Fire in connection with a fire that occurred at 32 Old Pike Road in  Cornish on the night of May 25, 2026.

The three individuals shown in the video released on Friday have been identified.  INvestigators have contacted all three and determined they are NOT suspectds in the fire.  The investigation revealed that Jooyce acted alone.  He is currently beingheld at the York County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.  Thee investigation remains ongoing according to a press release issued late on Saturday, May 30, 2026 afternoon by Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, for the Maine Department of Public Safety, Augusta.
