Christmas Tree 2021 at Monument Square Being Decorated by City Parks & Recreation Forestry Crew.  The Tree Donated by Patricia Olsen, will be Illuminated at dusk on Black Friday, November 26. Those Gathering Can Enjoy Free Eggnog From 3:00 – 5:00 pm.

The tradtional Turkey Day football game between Portland and Deering High Schools is being renewed this year after a COVID hiatus last year.  This will be the 109th edition of the game and it is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day Thursday, Novembef 25 at Fitzgerald Stadium.  Kickoff will be at 10:30 am.  Tickets are $5. for general admission, $3. for seniors and veterans and free for students with an ID/Metro Pass.

Tickets can be obtained at the stadium on game day.

The Portland Public Schools look forward to seeing the Portland community come out to celebrate this tradition and cheer on our students while enjoying the game.
