Property at 165 Sheridan Street That Was Recently Cleared of Trees and Brush for Development by Ted Moore. Folks at the Top of the Photo were Standing in Sumner Park, on North Street.
Developer Ted Moore has purchased 165 Sheridan Street on the east end of Portland he acknowledged in an email to this blogger several weeks ago. He intends to build a multi-unit rental building on the spot.
Moore, a developer from Marblehead, Massachusetts also bought at auction 75 Chestnut Street and six acres of Saco Island that once belonged to bankrupt developer Bernie Saulnier, of Saco.
Last summer Saulnier filed for bankruptcy after having been sued by his business partner John Veneziano. His business partner accused Saulnier of taking money from their business J&B Partners. An allegation that Saulnier denied.
An application for the development of the property has not yet been forwarded to the city’s planning department. No other details on the 165 Sheridan Street development are available at this time.
