Jeff Goldberg, Restores Power Supply For Time Warner Customers This Morning.

For customers of Time Warner, this morning was a frustrating time.   The power supply at the corner of Cumberland Avenue and Sheridan Street became overheated and broke down according to Jeff Goldberg, a maintenance technician with Time Warner.

Goldberg replaced the power supply with a temporary supply and requested that a newer system be installed sometime this summer.  The system in place was about twenty years old he said. Decisions on this are made out-of-state, but it’s anticipated that the new system would be installed late at night when probably no one will be affected by the temporary break in service.

Time Warner received an indication from the company in New York that a power supply had gone down.  The New York office was able to pin point for it exactly where the problem was.

The interruption in service had nothing to do with the storm last night.  Power was restored about 11:15 am.
