Maine State Police are assisting the Windham Police Department with a shooting that occurred at approximaely 1:55 pm today on Route 302 in North Windham.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is urged to call the Mane State Police at 207 – 624-7076.  Futher information will be provided as it becomes available.

It was also announced much later in the day that a press conference would be held early this evening.in Windham.   Lt. Aaron M. Turcotte Troop Commenader at the Maine State Police in Vassalboro emaled this blogger that  a press release would be issued this evening following the press conference.   But as of 9:20 pm it has not been received by this blogger.
