Portland High School was closed today.  That’s because of the discovery of two cases of the COVID-19 that school officials learned about over the long Labor Day weekend.  The purpose of the closure today is to allow school officials “to sort through and notify close contacts as we were not able to do over the weekend,” wrote Tess Nacelewicz, Communications Coordinator for the Portland Public Schools, in a statement.
