OUI Leads to Recovery of Two Guns on Portland Street From SoPo Man Yesterday

Portland Police stopped a motdor vehicle for driving the wrong way down a one-way street on Monday, November 6, at 12:17 am.  The officer observed a rifle magazine being handled when he approached the car, before the driver stated he had a rifle and handgun in the vehicle.

The officer conducted a series of field sobriety tests, which led to an OUI charge after a breathalizer test was conductd at the police department.

Recovered from the vehicle was a Sig Sauer M400 AR-15 rifle with two 30-round magazines and a Glock 19 with 31 and 15 round magazines.

Police arrested 21 year old Bryce Dingwell of South Portland who was charged wth OUI for  having a loaded fireman in a motor vehicle.
