If you missed the opportunity to meet Democratic US Senate Candidate Graham Platner when he was in Portland at Bunker Brewing recently, don’t despair! Mr. Platner will be hosting another town hall on Thursday, October 2, at 6:00 pm at The Brunswick Hotel, 4 Noble Street, Brunswick.
Mr. Platner is a US Army combat veteran, oyster farmer and democratic candidate for Senate. He is running to defeat Senator Susan Collins (R) and her billionaire backers to win back the seat for the working Mainers being priced out of the home we love.
Recently, Mr. Platner was endorsed by Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont at the Cross Arena in Portland. He has received national attention having appeared on late night cable news shows as well. He lives in Sullivan, with his wife, Amy, and their pets.
“I’m not afraid to name an enemy. The enemy is the olilgarchy. It’s the billionaires who pay for it. It’s the corrupt politicians – Reublilcan and Democrat – who sell us out. Susan Collins is the most vulnerable Republic senator in the country,” he said recently.
If you are unable to get to Brunswick on Thursday, October 2 to meet Mr. Platner, there are other upcoming town halls Mr. Platner will be hosting – including: Wednesday, October 15 in Lewiston-Auburn at the Franco Center, at 6:00 pm; Wednesday, October 22, in Ogunquit at The Leavitt Theater at 6:00 pm; Thursday, October 23 in Biddeford at Sacred Profane Brewery at 5:00 pm; Monday, October 27, in Bath at American Legion at 5:30 pm and lastly, Monday, October 27; in Wiscasset at Aekeir Brewing Tasting Room, at 7:00 pm.
It was reported earlier this month in the “Portand Press Herald,” the mouthpiece for Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), that she left a town hall in central Maine without taking questions from the media. Many consider Mr. Platner to be the leading candidate to defeat Senator Collins in her effort to retain her Senate seat next year; announced or unannounced candidate.

You seriously need to think about moving the scheduled thurs Oct 2 town hall at Brunswick Hotel. 6pmbto a much larger venue that can hold hundreds more people.. I am one person and know 10.friends who are also attending . There is a significant broad interest in his campaign in Brunswick.
