HANDS OFF! Protest Against Convicted Felon Trump and Billionaire is a Nationwide Event. Many Towns in Maine are Participating – Not Just Portlanders.

Protests are Also Planned for Brunswick, Auburn, Wells, Paris, York, Augusta, Farmington in Maine as Well as in New Hampshire in Conway, Dover, Wolfeboro, Portsmouth, Concord and Haverhill, MA. Etc. Etc.  The List is Long!

You are urged to fight back against Convicted Felon Trump and Billioniare Elon Musk at a Protest – HANDS OFF! – on Saturday, April 5th. The protest runs from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Monument Square, 456 Congress Street, Portland.

Convicted Felon Trump and Bilionare Elon Musk think this country is their fiefdom – they can do whatever they want and get away with it.  They’re taking everything they can get their hands on — our healthcare, our data, our jobs, our services, our voting rights —- and daring the world to stop them.

But they are wrong about that.  People are pushing back and when that happens bullies back down – as they are doing when the pressure becomes intense enough.  This is a crisis and the time to act is now.  In fact, over 1,000 protests are planned in all 50 states.

This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of CF and his Billionaire allies.  Alongside Americans across the state and the country, we are marchng, rallying and protesting to demand a stop to the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our state and country according to the organizer Indivisible.

A core principle behnd our HandsOff! events is a commitment to nonviolent action.  We expect all participants to seek to de-escalaate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.  But signs are welcome!
