All Spooks Listen Up!
Trick or Treat at the Portland Observatory – Monday, October 31st from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Mrs Emma Crosby Moody (the wife of Lemuel Moody, the founder of the tower) will be on hand to welcome visitors and hand out candy. Be prepared for some spooky surprises at the country’s only Maritime Signal Tower. First floor ONLY of the Observatory will be open and decorated.
Do you want to carve a pumpkin on Halloween? If so, the Southern Maine Workers’ Center at 68 Washington Avenue, is holding a pumpkin carving night on Monday, October 31st from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
AND the Hilltop Superette at the corner of North and Congress Streets will have its sugar rich candy basket available to satisfy your sweet tooth!
