The MAMMOTH Strings Will be Entertaining at the Grand Opening Tomorrow Afternoon. Betweeb 3:99 & 4:00 PM,  Starting October 23, the MAMMOTH Strings Will Meet Weekly from 5:15 – 6:30 PM.

YOU are invited to attend the Grand Opening of the Maine Academy of Modern Music (MAMM) tomorrow, Saturday, October 14, at 144 Fore Street, on Munjoy Hill.  The Grand Opening runs from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Tomorrow’s Grand Opening schedule goes like this:  1:00 pm. Doors open and refreshments will be served; 1:30 pm Performance from MAMM soloist, Hadley; 2:00 pm Ribbon Cutting; 2: 05 pm – More performances from Noelle, Addie, Mel and Asia and by Elle; 3:00 pm – MAMMOTH Open Strings Jam.

Following a tour of the attractively and newly renovated studios in the former VA Maine Health Care Clinic, the gracious couple said that with this expansion of their non-profit on Munjoy Hill, they now have 500 students statewide. The couple met in college in upstate Maine where music was their concentration.  Previously, Jeff worked at Spurwink Services for thirteen years.

You are invited to stop by during the Grand Opening tomorrow afternoon and meet the MAMM faculty and register for lessons if you are so inclined.  Volunteer opportunities are available as well as scholarships for the qualified persons!
