Join musician Daniel Bernard Roumain in Monument Square this evening at 5:00 pm and follow him and myriad musicians from performance to performance down Congress Street to Congress Square Park for the May First Friday Art Walk. The parade is presented by Portland Ovations and has been named “En Masse.”

Roumain is a violinist, composer and arts advocate and is returning to Portland for an expansive musical spectacle that is part flashmob and part processional. “En Masse” celebrates music and community and features an array of Maine musicians of all ages with Roumain as maestro and pied piper. He will lead a musical parade through the Arts District from Monument Square down Congress Street, culminating in a community jam to Congress Square Park. “En Masse” concludes at 6:30 pm.
