Rising Tide Will be at the Beer Bash at Thompson’s Point

Portlanders love their craft beers – all fifty of them in the State – and this summer they will have an opportunity to sample some of their favorites and discover new ones as well from all over the region.  The special one day event is Friday, August 1st from 5 pm – 10 pm.  Tickets are $65. each. Rain or Shine.

Portland is one of seven stops in cities across the country with thriving craft beer cultures – to be featured on the tour put on by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. who is hosting the event.   Each stop will feature that city’s local and regional breweries.  Each festival will feature up to two beers per brewery, food vendors and live music by the MarchFourth Marching Band spectacle.

So far, fifty-one craft breweries from both in-state and out-of-state have signed up for the event, making Portland the second largest of the seven cities on the tour.  There are more expected to sign-up in the upcoming days.

Just last Friday afternoon, the groundbreaking ceremony took place at Thompson’s Point for a major development located near the Portland International Jetport on the Fore River.
