Join Artist Daniel Menter on Saturday, June 1, 2019.

You are invited to a Community Painting Party with celebrated artist Daniel Minter on Saturday, June 1 at the Kennedy Park Basketball Courts (intersection of Anderson and Fox Streets) between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Mr. Minter is creating a group of five 10′ tall, brightly painted and decorated figures called Mother’s Garden.  They will serve as the symbolic and spiritual entries for a vast new program to assist immigrants from away who now call Portland home.

This is an opportunity to meet Mr. Minter and help him finish up his sculptures – Mother’s Garden – for installation day June 15, 2019, at 6:00 pm according to a press release issued by TEMPOart Chair, Alice Spencer.
