City Seeks Applicants to Serve on New Clean Elections Review Board

The city of Portland is seeking volunteer applicants to serve on a new Clean Elections Board after the approval of Questions 3 by voters in November 2022 to “Approve the Charter Modifications Recommended by the Charter Commission Relating to Clean Elections.”  The Charter Modification will take effect on July 1, 2023 and be applicable to the November 2023 election.

Members of the Clean Election Review Board shall be residents of the city and shall not be officers or employees of the city or any of its agencies or departments.  All members  shall be appointed to fill at-large seats and may reside in any part of the city.

1 seat for a 1 year term; 1 seat for a 2 year term and 1 seat for a 3 year term are available and need to be fllled.
