The public is invited to attend a Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11th at 8:30 am to mark the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.  The observance takes place at Fort Allen Park on the Eastern Promenade on Munjoy Hill.

Fire Chief Jerome LaMoira and Police Chief Michael Sauschuck will participate in a wreath laying ceremony just before a moment of silence at 8:46 am according a press release released by Jessica Grondin, spokesperson for Portland.
