Ballot Request # Information Received from Portland City Hall for November 8th Election

Mills (D) in the Upcoming November 8th Election over Paul LePage (R).  The Governor was Recently Endorsed by the “Bangor Daily News” for Relection, Over the “Crass” LePage. With the reported high numbers of votes already cast across the country well documented, this blogger received the following informtion from city hall spokeswoman late today:

12,653 absentee ballots have been requested by Portland voters,

Of those, 986 voted in person;

Absentee ballots returned and accepted:  5,292.

No information was available from city hall as to how many were from women and how many were men.  No information was available from city hall as to how the above figures compare to past mid-term elections.
