On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 9:00 am, Portland Police executed a search warrant at 288 State Street in relation to the Grant Street shots fired call that occurred on May 11, 2025.  Portland Police Department’s Criminal Division Investigation Division and others exeucted a search warrant and arrested 31 year old Brandon Michael Lafler, of Portland.

He was charged with Reckless Conduct with a Dangerous Weapon.  A firearm and other potential items of significance were located during the search of the residence.  He was transported to Cumberland County Jail.  The Portland Police Department would like to thank members of the community who provided valuable information during the course of the investigation.
