723 Congress Street, The Site of an Assault on a 62-Year-Old Woman That was Recently Solved.

On January 19, 2024, at 3:18 pm Portland Police were called to 723 Congress Street for a report of an assault and home invasion  Upon arival, Police found a 62-year-old femaie who stated someone broke into her apartment and severly beat her.

After a lengthy and thorough investigation, Police arrested 53-year-old Stephen Brichetto on February 19,  2024.  He was charged with Aggravated Assault and Burglary.
