A Long Line Began Forming Early Today for a Rally to “Fight Oligarcphy”  With Senator Bernie Sanders at the Cross Insurance Arena, Portland. The Rally Starts at 6:00 PM This Evening.  Doors Open at 3:30 pm.

You are invited to attend the free Annual Tree Hugging Event on the Bayside Trail at Somerset and Elm Streets (behind Trader Joe’s) on Saturday, September 13th at 11:00 AM..  This is the first time this annul event has been held in Bayside, although it is the fifth time it has been held in Portland.   It is hosted by Portland Park’s.

A welcome ceremony will be performed by the Burrnunwurbskek Singers of the Penobscot Nation.  Portland’s Supevising Park Ranger Elizabeth Collado will perform a Shinrin-Yoku Forest Bathing event.

Refreshments including traditional white pine tea will be available.  There will be activities and information tables on site as well.
