Holiday Lilght Show at 73 North Street

For more than fifteen years, Linda and Tim Olmsted, of 73 North Street on the Hill, have been delighting children of all ages with their family holiday light show.  “I’ve honestly lost count of how many years we’ve been doing this, but it’s been for many years,” said Linda late this afternoon.  She was out shoveling the sidewalk in front of their house to make it safer for people to enjoy the show.

Every year, the couple and their two children add more figures to the show.  Last year Linda’s daughter gave her the “shivering bear” – second from the right – for Christmas.  A small reindeer on the left is new this year as well.  When the show started years ago, it had only two pieces and over the years it has grown to its current size.  The light show will be up until just after the first of the New Year.

So when you are out and about be sure and take a drive down North Street to enjoy this dazzling holiday light show.  It’s more than worth the ride or walk!
