Over the weekend, mhn.com was informed that Patrick Arnold’s New England Ocean Cluster will be leasing space on the Maine Wharf starting in September of 2019. The location is the former Portland Science Center, 68 Commercial Street, which space was vacated last May. It had been located there for about three years and was owned by The Gold Group of Massachusetts.
To date this organization has been involved in several activities locally, including: The recent Seawood Week and others.
The Cluster organization has been looking for a location in Portland for sometime now. Neighbors in the area confirmed it had been their understanding that the Ocean Cluster group was to move into the former Portland Science Center.. The popular Scales restaurant occupies the other end of the building.
