The New Trader Joe's on Marginal Way

Trader Joe’s now plans to open its new store in Portland at the end of October this year. Previously MHN.com had reported the larger than usual store would be opening on November 1st. However, the rennovation of the store is going so smoothly that the opening date has been moved up according to sources at the site.

Moving into the former Wild Oats building on Marginal Way, it is a major competitor for the close-by Whole Foods Market also an organic store. Joe’s is known for low, low prices and selling items in bulk. The new store has roughly double the square footage of Joe’s other stores across the country.
