If you are a Hill resident, 21 years old or older, you are invited to attend the all-day Culinary Marketplace & Lifestyle Lounge set for this Saturday, October 25, on the Maine State Pier at the bottom of the Hill – at a special discount.
When you and a friend arrive at Ocean Gateway, please tell the Gate Keeper that you are residents of the Hill and you will receive one ticket at full price and the second ticket FREE! This special invitation to Hill residents entitles you both to wine and food tasting, cook book browsing, talking to their authors and a fun chance to visit with many more vendors. MHN readers might want to check their holiday gift giving lists before attending as well.
The Culinary Marketplace & Lifestyle Loungs runs on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost of a ticket is $35.00. (Infants in backpacks are welcome and children in strollers are not welcome. Please be prepared to show I.D. ).
Harvest on the Harbor starts tonight with a reception at the Ocean Gateway at the bottom of the Hill and runs through October 25th evening. This culinry gala is hosted by the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Portland, Barbara Whitten, president. The primary sponsor is Shaw’s Supermarkets. ‘Down East’ magazine is the media sponsor.
