Two residential complexes on Munjoy Hill were cleared for a public hearing before the city’s planning board at its monthly meeting yesterday. While they are very different in size and ownership plans, they share one common thread. Both are built on sloped land, requiring special attention to siting and related issues. While Munjoy Hill is becoming an increasingly desirable community in which to live, the undeveloped land on which to build is scarcer and scarcer – forcing construction on land heretofore considered “worthless” or too challenging on which to build.
